Not that I've ever had the desire to game on Facebook or anything... but I can't help but feel like that's almost exactly the script running through a guy's head when he talks himself out of an approach in a bar/mall/real life...

Which is why you need skillz that killz. Sure, they get e-mails from 500 guys per day.. But which of the guys actually manage to even get to mid-game before getting blown off? Only the skilled ones. Be one of them and you'll succeed.

If this girl is extremely hot and she actually gets a lot of e-mails per day, start off with a neg for example.. Lower her value and keep gaming. Problem solved.

Buhuu... A lot of guys want the same girl as me! I'm just gonna complain and give up... Seriously, obstacles are merely challenges. If they turn you into a crybaby - it's your inner game that sucks and not the difficulty of the approach.

99% of people using facebook have no idea about the driving forces behind it. They signed up and use it under false pretenses. They are completely unaware of how anything they do on the site is being documented.

Think of the private conversations people have on the instant messaging application, unbeknown that every word is quite possibly being stored in a database somewhere. These people don't realize they signed a consent form that allows facebook or whatever third party to use any and all submitted data in whatever way they please.

Knowing this information I still use facebook, but with some decency and reason, unlike millions of oblivious sheep.

It's something you'd expect from an oppressive, socialist, totalitarian government, not with democracy. It completely goes against our rights to privacy, something I highly respect.

I ask this because I have brought this up to a couple close friends as of late, and this question has plauged my mind. Knowing that this is the perfect place to get some answers. I have no Facebook. I have never had a Myspace. And, according to a work friend of mine, this is unacceptable. Me and this work buddy have gone out over the past months to bars and to pick up. This guy is a player, plain and simple. He has his quirks, but as a single man he lays on average 3 girls a week. Being in my early 20's, he has had a lot more experience and he is 31 now. We have had our disagreements, but over all have the same goals(for girls). He explains that over 90% of his pickup is done through these sites now and days.. That I need one because I am missing out on "So much poon". We have actually argued about this and is what sparked this whole thing in my head(which was probably his intention). To him, not having a facebook in 2010 is what would be considered socially awkward. Are these social networking sites a need(not a want) for a man to get anywhere with more women now?

That information is absolutely incorrect. You don't necessarily NEED Facebook or Myspace or whatever in order to get anything you want with women. It's just that some people find it easier to game through social networking sites because they're not socially capable of doing it in real life. Some find it easier online because of that reason. It's really up to you...

Online approach anxiety? online approach experience my friend. ive dated and seen many girls trough the net. rarely are they serious. they have hundreds of guys calling them anyway. attractive girls on the internet get bombared with emails and stuff. in real life you are competing with maybe 5-10 guys on her phone list on the internet you are competing with 50 guys+ atleast.

Until then a website gathering only the information I choose to make public, and gathering other information from publicly available sources is hardly something to worry about.
