In my opinion, even if it's a very far cousin you shouldn't have something. I mean there is so many fish on the sea, why go for troubles??

Hey so me and my cousin have always been close and tell each other everything, and well today he told me that he just found out the girl he is dating is like a 6th cousin. He thinks its uncomfortable being around her after that, and thinks he should dump her... i do to (like she isn't that hot =P) So today he is going to dump her at this party or something... Now my question to you guys in not weather he should keep her or not because that's already been dealt with. But do you think it is ok to date your 6th cuz? |

What in the world is even a 6th Cousin. That sounds like a far far off relationship ! All he might know is that his and her parents are absolutely fine with him dating her, then what.
Now my question to you guys in not weather he should keep her or not because that's already been dealt with. But do you think it is ok to date your 6th cuz? |

Legally it's wrong to be with 1st or 2nd cousins. Realistically, I don't even know anyone beyond 2nd cousin... I don't think anyone actually counts that far unless they are _seriously_ into geneology. |

6th cousin is too far to cause any awkwardness... i'm probably like your 8th cousin.. if he wants to dump her then she's probably his like 2nd or 3rd cousin and he's just using the number six to not look like a sick pervert infront of you.. who the hell in america knows past their second cousin anyways.. lol |
