After gaming a girl whom I almost f-closed ( fr-hbrussian-on-st-patties-day-vt64285.html ) we were sitting outside of the room and this dude came and started negging her because she was a HOT BABE O_o. The conversation lasted only because she was nice and he was friends with my wing that she knew. Non of the negs were beneficial and are only counterproductive to the dude's goal. It was a total turn off for her, and at some point the conversation has become hostile between them. There is no need in negs, ITS ALL IN YOUR HEAD. |

People don't know how to neg properly.The conversation lasted only because she was nice and he was friends with my wing that she knew. Non of the negs were beneficial and are only counterproductive to the dude's goal. It was a total turn off for her, and at some point the conversation has become hostile between them. There is no need in negs, ITS ALL IN YOUR HEAD. I think most people see them as a magic bullet for attraction. Then go and sprayyyyyyyy a chick up with a shower of lead neg-bullets. People shouldn't neg if they don't know how to do it. If you go around insulting people, you need a slap. Negging is fine and very effective if done correctly. I game highly bitchy chicks, so sometime a hollow-point neg to the dome is required to let 'em know the deal. ( ; Much Love ~Finesse |

If the conversation turned hostile then it wasn't a neg? Correct me ifI'm wrong but I thought negs were a backhanded compliment, not an insult.

I completely disagree with you. Sure, negs are not NECESSARY, but they CAN indeed help.The conversation lasted only because she was nice and he was friends with my wing that she knew. There is no need in negs, ITS ALL IN YOUR HEAD. As the guy above me mentioned - they're only backhanded compliments. The goal of the neg is to get the target to LAUGH. If she doesn't laugh - you didn't neg her. You probably insulted her or made a fool of yourself. I think that you and the guy that "negged" have clear misunderstanding of what the purpose of a neg is. |

NEGS - The age old topic. Well Negs when used late in the game could come off as arrogant. Also a Neg isn't an insult as mentioned by a few posters here. Negs are effective to make a bratty lil arrogant girl down from her 7th heaven but in a playful FUN WAY. - A NEG SHOULD CONVEY THAT YOU CAN HAVE FUN WITH HER AND YOU ARENT GOING TO BE INTIMIDATED BY HER. ALL DONE IN A PLAYFUL WAY. There is no need to Neg a girl who is already very polite and nice to you. |

There is no NEED... But in A1, and A2, they are as good as gold.... ONLY IF they are used effectively. much past that, the only negs i'd use past that in Comfort and Sed. would be, like small backhanded things to keep the DHV up. but no need really. But yes, i have a friend who is just starting up with this community, and i think it's a trend to just neg neg neg neg all the time, then girls just think you're a dick. |

If you know how to kino well enough and can pull off that stealth seduction like gambler there is almost never a need to neg. the girl will be so comfortable and attracted that the purpose of the neg is pointless. negs are for newbies |

Marc.. Little panda.... Negs are not their to make the girl laugh, (or show that you are fun) they are there to make her feel temporarily insecure so she questions herself and becomes less confrontational. If the girl laughs, you have teased her NOT negged her. |

Fin, you may have misunderstood what I mean. When you neg a woman and say for example "eww you spit on me!" - her reaction to this will be exactly as you described: She will feel temporarily insecure and her value slightly drops. However, she won't become all serious and like "omg omg I gotta get out of here!!" (depending on how high-valued women you're gaming of course): She will cover her embarassment and pathetically try to cover it up by for example giggling or smiling. I didn't mean that she will hysterically start laughing like some fucking freak. I meant slight giggles and smiles. If she puts her "serious face" on - you've gone too far or she doesn't get the neg. Capische? |

Negging is pretty effective, depending on how you use it. I prefer to refer to negs as playful teasing. When you take negs too far, as in actually insulting the girl, it brings a sense of negativity in the air. But if you use it in a way that is playful and not insulting, making sure she is laughing or atleast engaged. Its worked great for me. |

Actually it wont. I never liked this neg because it is too strong, too lame. Whoever would complain about a girl spitting on him, its like, you dont comment on that kind of things. A more effective way is to wipe your cheek and making it look like you dont want her to see.

That's because they think there's a protocol to follow. There might be a guideline, but every case needs a different solution. |
