Hi, this is my first post, so apologies for any naivety. I was in this club the other night and I made a right fool of myself in front of a hot girl, not going into details it was an awkward mess of a first impression. Anyway outside the club, the girl comes up to me and says she is disappointed that I made such a first impression, because she had thought I was hot. I was shocked as she is way above my league, but I managed to get her number. She told me to text her in a couple of days. Right its been a couple of days and I'm clueless about what to text her! I didn't speak to her that much as she left right after giving me her number. I don't particularly want to go on a date with her just yet as im bogged down with work. Does anyone have any idea on what to text her? Note I'm quite an insecure guy, so I don't think an arogant text are really going to work if she later finds out im not that person. |

Im thinking something along the lines of... 'Hey (girls name), how you doing? Planning on going to (a club) again anytime soon? Rich xx' Is this over simplistic? What do the pros think? |

Right I did it anyway, got mixed results, ended up slightly boring, but she wants to meet up in a club later this week. Problem is I just found out my Dad died, I'm pretty upset about it as he was pretty young and I'm not really in the right mind set for a date. I don't want to tell her to delay this as its a bit deep, but equally I don't want it to look like I'm waving her off. Any ideas? |

Tell her why you want to cancel...she will understand. This is pretty important for you (I guess) so just tell her.
