I'm not sure this is a correctable problem, so I'm just wondering how common it is more than trying to solve it. I have a real bad natural barometer for being socially acceptable. My whole life I've been a light-hearted, goofy guy who had no problem making friends or speaking my mind. However, being attractive or held in high-esteem has been a great challenge. To effectively use this pick-up stuff, I'm forced to surpress my personality, carefully watch everything I say and do, and stick to the plan. Gets me laid, but don't find it very fun. My hope was that after a while of doing pick-up routines that they'd become more engrained into my being and I could go back to being myself, but a now more attractive self. This hasn't been the case though, as every time I loosen up, even a little bit, I make a social mistake that blows me out. I think I've reached the limit of what pick-up material can teach me. Anything further would likely require a major reformatting completely erasing my former self to build anew from scratch. |

All I can say is just to work on getting the balance right. There is no significant change in my personality as such other than I'm more outgoing, less pessimistic and a little more sociable. Some people have commented I can be a little in your face which can cause problems but I consider it part of learning. The problem I find sometimes when people get into this is they over analyse it too much and become close to emotional robots. Just learn to stay in touch with being yourself while also having game and knowing when to flirt. Sure it'll help you get laid, but once you get a girlfriend (assuming you don't have one right now) eventually the real you will come out and frankly just as I wouldn't want to date a girl who has given me a false perception of herself, I don't think a girl would want to date a guy who had given her a false perception of himself. |

wow bro i know exactly how u feel cuz im going thru the exact same thing right now, one thing i figured out is that u have to somehow mix PU into your old lifestyle, the thing wit me is is that i after i started to do PU i started to over analyze things because i now know that if i say this she will think of me like that and my chances are gonna be rly low if i try to get with her, or if i do this i will seem to desperate or needy, when my professor said " the more you know the less ur sure about ur answer" he was saying this regarding to a test, but the also applies here to, one thing i learned, is that at times u have to stop thinking so much and jus do it or go with ur gut feeling no matter how bad the consequence can be hope this helps =] |

i no how u feel i never used to game in my close friend group, for example and none of the girls in it found me attractive, however i wld game in clubs and get laid with a completely stranger within ya 7 hours make a move "mystery tips look it up if u dnt understand the 7hours thing" however, i thought one night bugger this ill game in my group and be myself in clubs same happened backwards friends close found me more attractive clubs i bomb terribly... so i found the catch the half way point started hitting on girls in sets containing a guy, every time that small part of me thought of something to say i knew cld blow me out the group, i directed it at the guy and if he laughed etc. girls wld to if he gave me a funny look, i wld turn back to the girls with a quote of "he thinks im serious " and a cheeky grin which wld make them laugh but still see a different side of me... hope this will help a little try it |

"It's funny how someone else's success brings pain" If your doing good you'll become a threat to others so it's a catch 22, not everyone can be a true friend. Now as for not being able to get girls within your social circle, would you really want to? Don't shit where you eat. Instead integrate yourself into their social groups. This shouldnt just be reading gambits and coldplay as if they were instructions. They're mearly guidelines. You have to take them and adapt them to your own personailty, it makes everything flow much easier and it become natural. |
