I picked up this girl last Saturday, everything was great! I think it was an almost perfect Pick Up. I had sex with her even before I got her number.

Now she is getting a little clingy. For instance she texted me just yet to ask what my last name is, so she can check me out on facebook and show her female friends. (To be honest, I dont want to give her my last name. Should I ignore her text, or what would you guys do?)

I think she really likes me, but Im trying to be a bit distant because I was dumped last Wednesday by my girlfriend for almost 3 years. Im still not really over her.

I do dig her, she is a hb7/8. We have a lot in common. And, of course, I want to leave this girl better than I found her. The sex is also really good so she is sleeping over again next Friday.

The reason why my ex gf dumped me was because I was too nice to her. I got LJBF'd. I dont want to get in the friends zone with this girl and want to stay a man. One of my principals is not to give my last name to a "stranger" and I also don't want to make myself too available.

Have you guys got any advice ?

Also, if you want to preserve your value and "be more of a man" - you are the only one that can make it happen. So sit down with a piece of paper and pencil, and LIST all the things that made you a wuss in your previous relationship. I know the story, read your thread in the Relationship section. Clearly, your ex told you the exact reasons she doesn't want to be with you.

List those reasons, and one by one, eliminate them.
