So there's this chick in my class, HB8 she is CLEARLY the cutest girl in the class, and this one guy in the class kinda already has "claimed" her, now I say this as in he is always sitting next to her, but today I sat closer to her, and I noticed she looked back at me once, and when she got up to leave for a phone call, she came back in and EC'ed twice before she got back to her seat....... Now dude is cuffing her, like so much I don't even wanna approach her when he is around......like they even walk into class together, BUT I did notice that one of her classes is the one before mine earlier in the day.....basically her class is over while I'm walking in. TIPS???!!!!! |

He is a clingon, she knows it, u know it and everyone else probably knows it. who likes clingons? just make a move whether he is around her or not. she will probably be fuckin stoked if u pulled her away while he is around. high risk = high reward, so take some risks! |

I would approach while both of them are together. If you address him like a normal peer and make her laugh you just look like a fun guy. Keep the light kino in there to suggest a more sexual relationship. Try this: After talking to the group (mostly her) for a while. Turn to the guy and ask if he can rate this dance move (or some other bullshit). Go up to the girl, look in her eyes, and twirl her. Usually she's suprised. It's worked for me before |

I have a similar situation in one of my graduate classes. It's a music history course, and the girl is a music student, Incredibly cute! But she is with this guy perpetually.. Now I don't know if they are "together" or if they are just friends.. This guy is a very nice kid, and very bright, but really physically scrawny (not that I'm much more buff.. but I'm definitely noticeably more attractive.) In fact, I was almost sure he's gay... So i might be a gay friend. But either way, ALWAYS around each other, so it makes approaching difficult, and more nerve wrecking for sure, but it shouldn't stifle our efforts. Start a non threatening conversation. Approach with an opinion opener or something, and then go in and ask how the two of the (target + obstacle) know each other. Mystery does this funny thing where he takes it a step further, like.. If HE says "She's my girlfriend" Then Mystery would say "Is this true?" to the girl.. and he found that a lot of the time she will say "No, we're just friends" or something like that Then you can reply: "awww... man.. I see what you're doing.. No no, it's good.. Good for you.. Keep working it" (super playful tone) And AMOG Him. You don't have to go that extreme, but find out how the two know each other. maybe they aren't romantically involved, and he'll even help you.. Who knows. Lets BOTH approach tomorrow! DEAL? |

If you think he's gay (and if he is) it should be easy. Address both of them, win over the friend, and he'll basically give you a full pass on her |
