Post subject:  Gaming an older woman?

Hey guys,

Does anyone have any experience or tips for gaming a woman older than you?

Every Friday my boss sends me to go help a bank out of the city since they refer business to us. So, I do my usual rounds in the morning and chat up all the ladies in the bank.

Last Friday, I ended up sitting in this one lady's office and chatting for 20 minutes. She made it clear that she was single and looking and I made it clear I was single as well. She gave the typical, "How/why are you single?", "What are you looking for in a girl?", etc. Lots of interest, chemistry, and flirting.

Then the topic of age came up... Knowing she's older than me, I tried to avoid it, she guessed my age to be at least 26 but guessed 30. I'm 23. She eventually just came out and asked me to answer the question truthfully. So, I did and she was extremely taken back. She said she would have never thought I was that young and neither would anyone else in the office [She's 28]. We continued talking and we eat lunch together after. No day 2 since she was really busy last weekend.

This girl is a catch. How can I proceed with this? Is there anything I need to reassure or comfort her about? I always thought age was a big thing to women.

Some off the cuff thoughts... You're being younger than her really surprised her, she wasn't expecting it based on your appearance (dress/looks/mannerisms). She was clearly interested, maybe now she's worried she's going to look like she's being a bit predatory. I think you should get in the driving seat and get the ball rolling: "Hey, I loved chatting with you. I know a great <whatever> round here, let's go this Friday."

In other words, be the dominant alpha, act as if it's completely natural that you are leading the relationship, and so live up to your initial impression of being older than you at first seemed. Age isn't such an important thing for a guy - who you are is.

Just my 2c :)
