| Post subject: | How do you deal with AMOG that is the target's friend? |
I am new to this and is practicing my skills. I met this girl through some friends and we went to a club and had spent the night dancing with her and chatting. At the end of the night, I drove her and her friends home and one of them was a guy. Throughout the night, that guy was dancing with her from time to time but not so much up tight or grinding her or anything like that. While driving home, he was dominating the scene, teasing her, making her laugh but also did some DLV moves. So I am not quite sure if this guy is a PUA or not since I definitely can recognize some of the techniques but they seemed natural. Besides, this guy has known her a few months already and according to what I read here and at other places, after that much time, he is probably already in the LJBF zone, but again, I am not sure. I want to keep this girl around to practice my skills. I go out with friends to pubs over the weekend to practice pick up. But my problem is keeping conversation going or making my conversation interesting and fun, I have no problem opening a set, generally. Is this guy in this situation even considered an AMOG? I just felt like she had known this guy for months and he is her friend and that was why they were talking that much since I was the new guy there. He talked like 90% of the time and the girl there was just giggling. Not sure if that is something to take a note of. So my question is how to deal with a situation like this? I know the things I need to do when an AMOG enters the scene but at the same time, I was not able to dominate the scene. I just felt that they were chatting and obviously knowing others for a rather long time and it was hard for me to really insert myself in between them. The things they were talking about were all really nonsense to me. It was hard for me to make sense of their conversation and join it and I thought it would be too assertive to just jump in, interrupt and start something else. |
