Hello, I have been reading and learning from this website the past few months. You'll have some very helpful information and tactics here - thank you guys. I have a scenario I need input for: I met this girl HB8 got her number and took her out on day 2 - had kino but did not k-close though. I was setting up day 3, and she suggests - why don't we do lunch. What would be a good way to respond? |

If she is wanting to do something indoors that says to me 2 things. 1) shes not the type for public displays of affection 2) shes up for taking things up a knotch in a more more private surrounding my suggestion would be, tell her you will make lunch for her (nothing too fancy) at your place and then go from there. hope this helps |

Plenty of people aren't outdoorsy type people. If she wants to be indoors, that is probably where she is most comfortable. Her being comfortable will help you build comfort with her. I don't think it will be bad to oblige her, besides, she wants a day 3, that's a good sign. |

jester101, thomas the train, KristallNachte - Thanks a lot for your input. Shall call her back and set up lunch. Before I made the first post above, I was just going to blow her off, as it seemed like she was trying to lead. Good thing i did not do that and decided to post. You guys make some solid points -> the girl being in her comfortable environment in key. |

make her earn time with her, trade you time for something. say something like "I'll let you take me to lunch if you can make me laugh" |

Ok, I set up a day 3, but thinking whether I should cancel it though. The distance between us is ~40mi. Had to end up setting it close to her place, but since I am willing to drive 40 mi to see her, it almost seems like I just DLV-d myself. She was like - oh are you going to drive all the way here just to have lunch with me? Any input? Also, what would be a good C&F way to respond to her question? |

Thank you for the reply aflifer and KristallNachte. Timing is key and I also need practice to throw in such comments with enough congruence. I shall make sure to start using them from next time. For this time though, since I am driving up to see her, do you guys think that looks like a DLV? Is she brings it up again, should I just respond with a neg or is that too harsh? |

street light - thank you, I read your post right before going out today. Went in completely relaxed, had a great conversation, used some standard routines. Had good frame throughout. Resulted in k-close and a short make-out. Could have been smoother though, need to work on that. Thank you guys for your help. Feels great as I see improvement already. |
