This didn't happen to me, but a friend of mine i'm talking with on MSN right now. He's talking to this girl that likes him a lot. i think he kinda likes her too. So the girl says to him that she doesn't want to be in a relationship right now. She's been single for a good while too btw if that means anything. So is that a shit test? How would you respond to it? I think he already failed miserably by saying that "Well then i respect your decision" Do you think that her statement should have really been taken at face value, and she really doesn't want the relationship?? |

I would have gone with something along the lines of: "Whoa whoa, slow down there, who said anything about a relationship?. But if your not ready to hang out and have a good time I guess I am talking to the wrong person But I'm still new to this so I could be waaaay wrong. |

Like with any shit test there are many ways to deal with them. I usually ignor them for awhile by talking on and forgetting about them. Chances are she will to and then u disarmed her! Sometimes she will remember and then u can just give something off like SHE is trying to rush into things. |

Ok, what would you say if you actually believed that she wasn't really interested in a relationship (which may very well be the case)?

That being said I would love to be corrected on this by someone more knowledgable than myself. |

"When the right guy comes you will change your mind in a split of second, but on the other side its nothing bad in being single like lotz of ppl think" I would answer something like that... You cant be wrong because you agree with both (being single or in relationship) |

If she doesn't want a relationship then you respect that. He's talking to this girl that likes him a lot. i think he kinda likes her too. So the girl says to him that she doesn't want to be in a relationship right now. She's been single for a good while too btw if that means anything. So is that a shit test? I think he already failed miserably by saying that "Well then i respect your decision" Do you think that her statement should have really been taken at face value, and she really doesn't want the relationship?? It wasn't a shit test, it's not trying to directly disqaulify him. If it turns out he can change her mind so be it. But until then it doesn't really matter. |
