Like if you are learning how to be alpha and just more social dominant, and you are at a position where you are one of the less dominate people, can you change ur rank to be the alpha? Or should you try with a newer group of friends? |

Probably through body language/posturing, eyecontact, stronger voice tonality, and demonstrating leadership qualities but I'd imagine it would cause a struggle for power within the dynamic of the social unit may even cause a fight and the loser getting ostracized like animals in the wild or like the two guys trying to be alpha in zombie/disaster movies ("Night of the Living Dead" for example). |

I am in this exact situation. The problem I've found is that the current alphas find your newfound dominance threatening. I've gone from being quiet to being more outgoing and outspoken. I was initially met with opposition and jealousy, but over time I've found that they've accepted and embraced the new me. So to answer your question, yes it can be done, but it won't be easy. |

I found that most of my friends were rather open to it the new me, with the exception of a couple of guys that will try to toss me under the bus with a chick every once in a while. It's a tough job though when you find yourself in a position when people begin calling you to see what is going on that night. The plan for the evening begins to fall on you. |
