I've read a lot of posts from teachers in the community (e.g Gambler etc - no Gambler, I'm not specifically having a go at you). It's all very impressive superficially that they make out with strippers and models and actress', but I have to say that that doesn't really speak to me. I'm a successful working professional and I'm looking for a special girl to spend my life with. Certainly some of the techniques have been great to meet and have the confidence to go out with people - but strippers, models!?! I am of the opinion that a lot of the 'gurus' in the PUA community have it backwards. What sense of meaningfulness is there in going out with a stripper? The 'gurus' can talk about the 'inner self' until they're blue in the face but if they think there is anything the least bit impressive about walking into a bar and all the strippers knowing their names, then they've missed the point. Stop peddling to the lowest common denominator and try advocating going out with women of substance |

Here's the deal. It's fucking AWESOME that you've figured out what you want in this. You know what most guys tell me they want? They tell me they want to fuck as many chicks as possible and then settle down and get married later. Do you think if you actually had a skill set to go out and fuck girls at will that you would actually be able to sit down and spend the rest of your life with one girl? I don't know...after being in that routine it may be hard. You took the time to actually figure out what you want, which most guys never dream of doing. Then they sit in a pile of confusion until they erupt with so much frustration that they leave the "community". Now that you know what you want, you can start going for your goal. The point is going for what you want. If your goal in life is to fuck as many strippers as possible and never get married, then go for it. Who cares. As long as you don't expect that to be the same goal for someone else. We aren't robots, we are individuals. Our own selfishness sometimes leads us to believe that whatever our goals are should be the same goals as others, because we are always right. Rock on bro, I'm glad you know what you're looking for. All you have to do is lay out your plan to get her, and go for it. Congrats. Chris Rex |

I agree. I generally use the stuff I learned from David Deangelo more than Mystery Method or anything else. MM is good for the freaky stripper types, but I have more success meeting normal every day kind of females to date by using cocky-funny. No flare, no peacocking. Just normal clothes and average girls. |

thanks for answering guys, I have to say though that I disagree. For starters I never said anything about dating average girls, on the contrary. I was talking about high quality girls and that there seems a skewed view in the community with what a high quality girl is. I agree for the most part with Chris Rex. However I think that on a deeper level you pretty much prove my point. With people learning PUA they go from not having a clue and being AFCs to looking to date strippers and porn stars. Besides being (what has become) a big business, one of the important aspects of sites like this and PUA in general is that it supports and improves guys. I'm all for personal choice but where my issue arises is with the corrosive nature of peddling women whose impact or a psyche and relationship will ultimately be destructive. It's great promo but poor fore-thought. |
