I'm not afraid to talk to girls at parties, but honestly I don't know how to. I've been pretty reclusive and introverted my whole life up till now (I was also homeschooled), and while I'm trying to change that, I presently am not good at making conversation with strangers. Any advice? |

1. Literature. Start with "The Game" by Neil Strauss if you haven't already read it. Then get "The Rules of the Game" by Neil Strauss- is the best place to start. It's a 30 day program, and it takes things nice and easy for you so that you get comfortable doing it. 2. Videos. Go to youtube and search for every big name in PUA. Watch every relevant clip from that person. Examples: Mystery, Neil Strauss, Juggler, Ross Jefferies, Lovedrop, Matador, David DeAngelo, etc. 3. The Forum. Browse through the forum and look for sticky threads on the tops of each section that contains revelant material. For instance, there's an entire section of this forum called "Approaching and Opening" for you to enjoy. The first thread? A collection of openers. Read through, pick out a handful you like. There's 29 pages of them. 4. Take the experience from your 30 day program (#1), and your background knowledge (#2), and a list of things to say (#3), and you will be able to effectively approach in any context. |

wow thanks a lot. great advice. my current situation is that i learned about pua a couple months ago and have probably read about 100 hours of pua literature since (mainly David D's Double Your Dating and Attraction Is Not a Choice). these have helped me with a lot, but not with opening. |

Don't go into the party with the intention to pick up women. Go to the party with the intention of having fun and bring the women along for the ride. Women go to parties to have fun, if you're obviously just trying to hook up they can tell as almost every other AFC is trying to do the same damn thing. Just meet people, laugh, drink, and enjoy the evening. If you see a girl who seems to be worth the effort or if you just feel like dancing or talking to someone go for it, but only do it because it'll make the night more awesome not because you need the validation. As for the talking part, talk to them like you would talk to any guy, just add a strong sexual frame and some balls. Most importantly, don't hold yourself back. When I enter a party the first thing I do is approach my group of friends. On the way there I'll open a set or two and plant a few seeds, but going straight for the social circle is a fantastic way of showing DHV, social proof, and a carefree attitude all at once. Be the fun guy who's the life of the party and you'll be off to a great start; it's up to you to take it from there. Good luck sir |

And don't forget the 3second rule... and if you don't have any opener, then don't forget "hi" is the best universal opener... |

For knowledge: Magic Bullets, The Game, Rules of The Game, The Mystery Method. (Magic Bullets and The Mystery Method will give you the most bang for your buck)Learn a bunch of routines, as many as you can cram in your brain. For building your skills: Keep sarging. Keep internalizing the right things. It's the best way. You can't let any sarging session be of much significance. If it does, it'll ruin you. For your inner-game: You need to have the right mentality and deeply believe in it. |
