First I will provide some backround info to help understand where Im coming from. I am very laid back and down to earth. I go with the flow and am very comfortable with myself among others. People tend to gravitate to me with little effort on my part. I usually just treat others as I want to be treated. I am hell out of the gate when it comes to setting things up but need help at times closing and this is something I know is an issue that i am working on. My "friend" of 8 years has no issue with women despite his insecurities about himself which are small in comparison to others. He has (over the past few years) become a very different person and along with that, the biggest cock block I have ever met. He does this even if he has no intension of taking it anywhere. The worst part is he constantly cheats on his girlfriends and throws his boys, be it family or friends under the bus to get women to notice him... sadly it works. I dont play friends like that and he does. It just isnt me and I cant be something I am not. So I dont act like that. My question is how to deal with a "cock blocking friend." As many of you might have had this issue at one time or another my friend is increasingly stealing women and redirecting their attension elsewhere at the expense of friendships. I certainly dont hate but it has been putting a strain on our friendship over the years. Recently this has become a big issue as I have been questioning does a friend do this. Obviously the answer should be no. Almost every time I find an attractive women that I start to talk to he comes in and ruins it. Any constructive, positive advice would be great |

Ive had the same problem as this, the answer was to hang out more with others in your Inner Circle and dont show your mate any attention, just move on with another couple of freinds. Once this happens you can concentrate on improving your game without having the annoyence of the guy coming in and cockblocking you. Soon you will be having more fun and picking up more women and he will want to come back and hang out with you just like old times. If you cant ditch him for a couple of months as above then just out game the guy, become the alpha male and get some good comebacks, plenty of which are found easily in this thread, if he tries to put you down to DHV himself infront of the women your gaming flip it back on him, take his lines and use them on him and see how he likes it. I know that kind of friend. My best friend for 6 years always has been taking ever single girl I've ever met and felt attraction to. I think that is a big reason why I never had a girlfriend during highschool. Things are going good, then they always meet my friend and fall in love with him. Recently I took up pickup and I have been out gaming him so hard. Even his steady girlfriend for 3 years likes me, I can tell by the harsh IOIs when I talk to her. I would say this is a good thing that is happening to you. As you develop skills, you have a challenge point, like a goal. Your goal can be to out game your friend. Everyone can be out gamed.
