Don't be overly apologetic, you know that if the situation were reversed that she wouldn't be. Just say, "Hey, something came up, I have a meeting at work now, so how's about we change it to _____?" If I'm speaking verbally then I make it more of a statement than a question that we're gonna reschedule for that day, but if it's via text or something (only if you can't do it verbally) then I'll use a question mark. |

i shot her a text saying somethin came up at work and we'd have to set a raincheck-prolly should have set up another day. but she ended up texting me the rest of the night. IOI? |
