Hey guys here is a quick question maybe not so much about the PUA process but if anyone takes a read and has some help it would be much appriciated. I picked up this girl about a year ago and we've been going off and on seeing eachother and hanging out for almost a year and a half. Just recently due to things working out for both of us I asked her out and we've been dating for about 2 months now. Now last night she was talking about her ideas for activity if she quit playing soccer. (this is sms) HER: Well if I dont play soccer I want to start working out so I can be a stick figure (skinny). now before i go on i'll already just point out she is already skinny and not even close to fat but she seems super self concious about herself and always calls herself fat which its brutally obvious that shes not. Okay so I say : I dont want you to look like a stick figure though zappppppppppped |

YOUR BETTER RESPONSE: Ok, sure, but whats wrong with soccer? I think thats a cool sport! Much more fun than just working out.See, why would you care, its her body. You dont own it and she does what the hell she wants with it. She is right. Maybe she doesnt want to look good for you but for herself. Being possessive and caring too much about that kind of thing is never good. |

I kind of appreciate where you're coming from zapped, but Ezo is right. There is nothing particulary wrong with what you said, but it might have been the tone in which you said it in - this would have gotten her defences up. I am recoginized as a slim woman, but I am of a healthy weight for my height. I'm puzzled why women want to be skiny like Nicole Richie - I've met someone that's very skinny before who used to excersise a little too much. There was no spark in her eyes and her skin looked dull - she looked like she needed some damn good feeding!! Women can do what they like with their weight but I do find it puzzling why so many think skinny is so beautiful. |
