OK, So here it is, Im having some trouble because I keep getting stuck on one point.. I was in an accident and blah blah blah... --> to the point, im burnt, badly, and not in a cool scar kind of way. You cant see it if I hide it, but you know somethings up cause if I dont use the crutch, I walk a bit funny and slowly.. This would be fine, but as soon as the conversation goes there - it stays there and everything goes out the window.. Looking for any help I can get.. If we can get this sorted though, Thaanks for your time and help. |

When the conversation goes there, what do you usually say? You should act like you dont give a shit about it, say something like "I dont care about the scars I'm happy im still alive" And then you could steer away from the subject with f.e.: "Have you (guys) had any near-death experiences?" If they don't, then you can DHV by saying "In a way it's good that it happened to me, I've learned to appreciate life so much more even though it may sound like a cliché, since my accident I picked up *** INTERESTING HOBBIES OR INTERESTS***" and then you can make the conversation go about your hobbies or theirs. Etc, see where I'm going with this bro? I have something similar, so i know how you feel, but no one ever noticed/talked about it to me, but this is how I would handle the situation. Don't let it affect your (inner)game. This video could be inspirational for you as well I suggest you check it out in this great thread on the forum: and-you-thought-looks-mattered-vt20942.html Best of luck, Chillburg |

Sweet.. Thanks for the replies.. I usually play it down a bit when it comes up and say I'm doing much better now, and as long as that keeps happening, Im good.. Quote: "Have you (guys) had any near-death experiences?" If they don't, then you can DHV by saying "In a way it's good that it happened to me, I've learned to appreciate life so much more even though it may sound like a cliché, since my accident I picked up *** INTERESTING HOBBIES OR INTERESTS***" and then you can make the conversation go about your hobbies or theirs.
