so when i'm reading a 160 pg ebook like Double Your Dating or the 19 step DiCarlo Ladder I appreciate it. But I can't tell you know what the 19 step ladder is specifically, though I remember a general impression of how to act.

So do you think I should try to memorize as much as I can and read stuff like 10 times until I memorize it, or should I just read it once, remember a general idea, and try to incorporate it into my game?

It really depends on what type of person you are. For me I like the general idea because I hate using any routines and like to take bits from alotta methods and make them my own. If your the kind of guys who can eat things and spit them back out better than just going with what comes out naturally then go with it. Some people feel more comfortable with alotta routines and exact memorized phrases to back them up. I dont but Im also a natural conversationalist so decide which one you are and tailor it to you. The more I learn about the game the more I see that its really important to tailor your game to you or it just wont be congruent and the girls will sence it.

Great question Wrapper.I've had the same prob' also over the years with just reading PU newsletters and articles.

My remedy is just to try memorize the main ideas or instructions.I don't try memorizing everything, just the point of the passage.

I guess Jav's point is don't become a keyboard jokey. You waste valuable time, learning time.

I've went through that phase where I'd read PUA materials online from about 4pm to 3 am(lol)!!

I never had time to actually sarge 'cause I was reading too f***ing much!!

But Jav you gotta understand that for a newbie,he has to read something![/u]

so just a follow question to my original question. how many times would you read Double Your Dating?

Once, take a few notes on things that strike you or some of the exercise that you want to do. Then get some field experiance in and maybe re-read after a few months. That should be plenty.

Dont memorize but instead try to embrace the idea behind it.
