Post subject:  Being Mysterious?

I consider myself a pretty good PUA and I can usually solve problems on my own, however this one I cannot seem to work out. I'd like to be more mysterious. It will surely help my style of game but I can't work out how to do it effectively.

I had a girl actually call me simple and predictable, which are two things I do not see myself as. What is the best way to be perceived as mysterious?

All I can tell you is develop multiple interests, make yourself a more complicated person and you'll come off like that. Recently I was told I'm extremely hard to read lol, pretty sure that's the reason behind it. Find your passions, and build them until you've become more whole if that makes sense. You might be cataloging your emotions a bit too much, or responding in too orthodox of a manor. A good response to her telling you you're simple and predictable is to just not give a fuck. Do simple and predictable guys act like that? Sounds like a shit test to me.

Ohhhhh difficult one.....but Nihro have sound advice :)

I'm coming from the other side of the bridge - I have multiple interests already and men who've had crushes on me have called me 'mysterious'.

But who gives a fuck? Not every woman is the same. I know women who if asked if they prefer mysterious types who are complex, they would just shrug their shoulders. There's nothing wrong with educating yourself and that will help you grow personally, but just concentrate on bringing out your best qualities, otherwise you'll make yourself unhappy.

Well it helps to not let her know what you're about to do all the time.

I like to tell girls that I don't like to mess with peoples minds or do I.....

Brendan.. you have to calibrate when to give a straight answer and when not to, keeping an even mix of both during your conversation, while keeping in mind to be playful whenever you don't give a straight answer (I find that women LOVE this). If you always give a straight orthodox answer then she's going to perceive you as boring and predictable, but on the flipside if you never give a straight answer, then she's going to perceive you as a bullshitter and liar. So you have to mix the two.

For example.. yesterday a woman asked me why do I have two mobile numbers. My reply was "I have one for a little bit of this and the other for a little bit of that" which is a super mysterious response to which she smiled and laughed but never asked me the real answer. She enjoyed the mysterious ness. Another example: I am actually 37 but can pass for 27 because when I make women guess they always say late 20s or 27/28. So whenever a woman asks me "how old are you?" I use this as an opportunity to be mysterious while playful at the same time - my response: "I'm 55, I'll be 56 next week" then while gliding my thumb and index finger down my chin with a smile, I say "I look good for my age don't I!" And they always smile or laugh and comeback with something like "yeah right you're 28 or you're no older than 30". But thus far using this line, I've never had a woman press me for the truth. Why because it's mysterious and playful at the same time and thus a DHV.

So don't be afraid to be mysterious (half of the time)... they LOVE it!
