I'm thinking about the advice Adam Carolla used to give AFC callers when he did Loveline, which was always "you're a sketchy guy, focus on yourself, look forward to vengance banging". Now, discounting the counterproductive woman-bashing sound of "vengance banging", is that really not solid advice? For a guy in his 20s/30s who lives with family and works off and on(usually off) in food service or behind a register, to enroll in a community college and forget women even exist outside of certain magazines and websites until he gets out and gets a decent job? Not so he can buy love or land a golddigger, but just for his frame, which how can it not be at least a little negative if you're life is at least a little negative? So major in C++, minor in Mystery Method, then apply both in the real world? Or would you say game is like a muscle, that gets harder and harder to grow with age until one day no amount of work is ever gonna give even minimal results? |

I go to school, work and still work on my game (just by going out having fun). How come you can't combine it all? |

Not saying it can't be done, guess I might be too keyed into the "pickup=bars=high end peacocking" mentality, and thinking that anything extracurricular might be too distracting. |
