| Post subject: | Tonality and improving communication skills. |
I've worked in sales for several years, selling different things. One thing that I've noticed influence how a person reacts to what I say is the tonality of my voice. I've heard Neil Strauss talk about it briefly before, but I'm interested in finding a book that touches more on this subject. I'm already sitting on top of a half dozen NLP books that I have yet to read, so I'd like to steer clear of that subject. If anyone has any tips, exercises, or books I should read, let me know. The one thing I do sometimes is my impression of a radio DJ. I think I come off as a more confident individual. It's also easy to go a bit overboard and in the end have the person I'm talking to look at me like I'm crazy. I'd like to try to run with this idea... Can anyone help? Thanks |
