I think that's not the right section to actually post that question, but anyways. Whatever tattoo you get, make sure it symbolizes something special for you, that way you won't get bored of it. Also choose a spot on your body that you rarely get to see (back for instance is a good idea) - the less you see it the smaller gets the chance that you get sick of it Cheers Jez |

Before you get anything thoroughly research the artist, his/her methods, that he/she uses sanitary equipment. Whether its a flat rate or by the hour. What I do is sharpie what I want and leave it for about a month so I can see if its something I can live with for the rest of my life. By the way if this is your first. It Will Hurt, anyone who tells you different is full of shit. I'm sure you'll be thinking of your next one as the first is being done lol. |

Sure it hurts, but it's not as painful as people describe it to be . It really depends which part of your body is being tattooed. Gentle parts as the belly, feet, elbow are very painful. It's not really about if it is the first tattoo you are getting or the second or the ... my first tattoo wasn't as painful as my second. Of course the first time you are more scared since you don't really know what to expect. Also, different colours cause different levels of pain, since they are applied in different ways, often with different tools. My expierence with the white colour wasn't pleasant Make sure that once you get the tattoo you take care of it till it heals completely, you don't want nasty infections ruining your skin. Cheers Jez |
