Only 22, been losing hair since 20...pretty noticeable now and its only getting worse. I have a scar on my head and one on my face. Ive heard people here say to shave it all off but i feel too young and too scared to really do that. I cant help feeling that i am ugly now and just getting uglier. This is obviously killing my chances to get with women when i go out. Should i think about hair plugs? Is that really stupid? Im really not sure what to do, im pretty in my own head about this and its been the one main thing thats bothered me for hte last 2-3 yrs |

Propecia is risky, i would do alot of research. i took the durg and couldnt get my dick up and lost interest in sex. I have stopped taking it and now my testosterone is higher than ever, i dont really have a down time after sex, i have to masterbat alot if im not getting any. I have never heard of a case like mine. Most people keep the effects of not having an erection. I am lucky as fuck. Alot of people are mad depressed from this drug and their whole lifes are fucked. but alot of people dont report the side effects and have good success with it. Propecia changes ur hormones be carful |

Maybe this is just my understanding, but beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. I've noticed from my experience that girls tend to put personality, charm, and confidence far ahead of looks/wealth/power etc. While looking physically attractive will no doubt make it easier for you, there is no reason any guy, regardless of physical appearance, should find himself insufficient in ANY department. This goes back to inner-game. Your best bet would be to find a look that you're comfortable with, be it shaving your head, wearing hats, or whatever. That way women will see that you're okay with what you've got and that it's worth getting with. Not that I'm implying you have any trouble whatsoever with girls. I'm only offering my take, but dude: the world is yours. I used to have trouble back in high school dealing with rejection from girls and jealousy of guys who were douchebags but because they were considered good looking or had a flash car would always get the best looking girls. Once you reach the age where people start acting like adults, you don't have to worry about winning the fuckin beauty pageant ya know? Play the hand your dealt and win with it. I don't know where all these Tony Robbin's nonsense is coming from but honestly man be glad and take advantage of what you've got. And please know that I'm not just blowing sunshine up your ass, I believe every word of it. |

Can you post a source with data and research to back up your claim that 'most people' who suffer from low libido as a result of Propecia, maintain those problems when they cease medication?Propecia changes ur hormones be carful That's a horribly broad generalisation you made there. Yes people can suffer from sexual side effects (scientific studies showed it to be 1 out of every 100), but the study also showed that everyone who ceased medication got rid of those problems - NOT TO SAY IT DOESNT HAPPEN. Thats just what the studies showed at the time. It's 'risky' if you want to be dramatic, but so is alot of medication. If you take the recommended dosage as directed, you should be fine. If you have problems, stop taking them. It's only 1mg per day, taking it for a week wont fuck you up beyond repair and should let you know if its wise for you or not. |

Dont get me wrong im not qualified in any way to tell u to take it or not, im just giving personal experienceQuote: Can you post a source with data and research to back up your claim that 'most people' who suffer from low libido as a result of Propecia, maintain those problems when they cease medication?
surehttp://www.propeciahelp.com/forum/ forum that can be very helpful from people who have taken the drug. But i warn u if ur going to take it, dont even look at this stuff. it can get disturbing. This drug destroys peoples lives. im thankful every day for my health now because of this http://www.propeciasideeffects.com/ - i like this video Alot of it criticizes the research and how it was conducted, giving reasons on how they benefit from certain claims and poor research. There is a shit load of studys that show the effects do not go away. The studys ur thinking of are coming from the company benefitingbtw im giving this drug to much credit as it is! look at this shit on the links i posted. If u still want to take it, ur fucken crazy! Plus Devereau right, looks matter but i think 90% of it is ur game |

I been taking Propecia for about 10years now and do notice some side affects. My libido is a little lower than it could be, I know this from stopping for about 2 months recently and my libido went through the roof. That being said I was able to get and maintain an erection(till the happy ending of course) they were however less frequent. It has not totally stopped my hair falling out, over the many years it's VERY slowly gotten thinner. I been thinking of stopping it after reading some research. I have been wondering if it even affects body size due to the impact it has on hormones. I also sometimes wonder if it has its part in my AFCness. The vanity of baldness sux but have recently learnt that looks isnt all that matters after almost landing a HB9(still a chance too!) Healthy life style changes can be made to slow it down but as the previous poster said do much research before you take it as it is a life long course, after stopping the drug all hair gained falls out. |

I don't have hair problems but most probably there are girls out there that really dig guys with no hair. Everyone either male or female has at least one kind of trait they find particularly attractive. For example, I found a girl that really liked that I had a potbelly. If the scars you have are not from an experience that DHVs you could make one up like hiking a very treacherous path. |
