Post subject:  Taking dance classes?
hey all,

I was thinking of maybe doing some dance classes, 1 on 1 training, to help with the pua scene, since i am not a very good dancer. what kind of dance classes should i be looking for, or is it waste of time and effort.

learning to dance isn't gonna make your progress go faster.


IMO it's wasted time if you're only doing it to pick-up chicks

its not just for girls, its a social thing as well

nice, good call. I've been wanting to do that for a while now. Will you be my partener?

But seriously, in terms of game it won't help much in the club scene. It will, however give you a good sense of rhythm, and in the end it might improve your dance floor game slightly.

If I was to take classes, I would go for salsa. Personally, I'm waiting until I find a girl who also wants to take classes. It's a GREAT date + practical learning, two birds with one stone. A lot of girls already know how to dance to it, and it's a fast-paced and fun style. The basics are really easy to learn, and it's a matter of a couple of classes to get to a good level.

my first ventures into clubs i did not know how to dance.. esp i took a girl to a club once and i just stood there while she danced on me.. If your a good dancer, it can get the girl in the mood. Not to mention, its like a free lap dance since you may be turned on and rubbing against them. Now Id say im pretty confident going on the dance floor. Just takes time to loosen up, alcohol helps because than you dont care what people think about you or your moves. Dancing with a girl, take the lead, grab their hands and move em around etc. then if the vibe is right, put your hands on her hips etc.. Its a challenge to do it to strangers, but if you do it, its nice.

Yeah i want to take salsa lessons whenever i meet the right girl to take it with.

Dance lessons are a great idea.

Dont do it to get chicks, do it because you genuinely want to learn how to dance and have fun.

I bet if you manage to actually get the dance crowd circle around you and dance awesomely you'll probably get attention from some HBs

Then you have an observational opener.

Girls is the added benefit, but just having a good time when going out dancing is the main thing.

I think my main problem is I am too 'rigid'. perhaps dance classes will be gud!
