Out by myself, the last couple weeks I've either got stalled or lazy at times and just taken a seat at the bar and chilled and watched games that were on etc. Since there was no one sitting with me or talking those spaces beside me remained open and people people flowed into these spots to get drinks. What I found was that they were super easy to engage because many were bored trying to get a drink (especially if you comment on the process of them getting a beer)and I guess knew I was seated they are standing which isn't intimidating and could get away from me pretty soon. Either way they all open. If they don't I normally just say something and look away and they will re-engage. Anyway I've had pretty good playful intereactions. Normally I would tease the girl about being able to get a drink before guys, "keep the girls happy the guys are happy" but that id offer to help get the bartender attention, or just tease her what she was drinking etc. but I'm having a difficult time get any to really hook and stay there. Several have invited me back to come hang out with them and their friends but most just bounce on even after a fun playful vib. Now I understand by sitting at the bar by yourself you aren't socially proofed and all that, sends a lot of negatives, but the interactions are good, I just haven't found any hook material, but if you could get it to hook then you basically have a chick hovering over you and what appears to be gaming you. It's just so easy to engage in this way anyway, i like to work it, anyone got an idea for a hook. I have already tried to go really direct as they leave saying your cute or stuff like that but it just seems to send them running quicker. Im thinking more of a cocky frame with reverse psychology now. Something like you shouldn't walk away, and when the girl says why, cause you'd be missing out or something to that effect I think could work. What do you think. |

if a girl is getting drinks, then usually she doesnt get one for just herself. Her friend(s) will be waiting for her to come back and if you keep her at the bar for too long she will probably get jealous and try to drag her friend away.
