First post ^_^. Little confused about a long time friend, Who acts like she's head-over-heels for me, but when i try to sex her up she says she doesn't like me in that way. I'm not exactly a seasoned PUA mostly natural and don't do bad when it comes to women, i kinda figured the whole cocky&funny thing myself before finding the whole PUA scene. Anyway, met her a long time ago at some party, she had all the men at the party following her around, i was the only one who didnt, i'd just neg her every once in a while then carry on, then i just so happened to have the last beer, she wanted it, started licking her lips ect asking for it, i said no. she kissed me, then i walked off and drank the beer. She stayed at mine a few times over next month or two and every time we was getting into it something came up. Long time passed since then and we decided to stay friends because my friend liked her, and i didn't feel right doing that to a friend. He's now not interested so thats no longer a problem. I'm very cocky and funny with her, She flaked me a few times so i cut her off a few times(although i did it in a silly way, letting her know i was pissed off.) Have to admit i've been a complete dick to her a few times, she turned up to meet me once with her hair all a mess, she looked a right state(she'd also been rude to my friend), so i sent her home. But she'll still phone me all the time, And i never phone her. I'm not acting needy or anything, and we flirt very heavily. And she gets so jealous when im around other women it's ridiculous. I was talking to a girl one night, and she came along and sat inbetween me and the other girl, then put her legs over mine. And even cried once(Think she may have a screw loose? XD). Phoned her earlier and the call went something like this. Me: Hey, what you doing? Her: Watching a film, 21'st state with a mate Me: Cool! you know the guy dies at the end? Her: really?! Me: Maybe, i don't want to spoil the ending for you. Her: OMG! Me: phone me when it's finished Her: I hate you!!!1 I'll phone you later! I'm not that bothered if i can sleep with her or not it just confuses the hell out of me, She seems like she's really, really into me, But when i try to take it to the next level she's not interested. I'm thinking she's either nuts or i've done something wrong somewhere. |

A lot of girls you will find act this way. They have good guy friends that they flirt with all the time and see what they can get out of them in some cases, but never let it go anywhere. There isn't much you can do about it but try to freeze her out for a while to see if that will get her running to you, but don't hold your breath. You could always try to seriously kino escalate when you have her alone at some point or in a spot where you can and see what happens. Then fight the LMR of "we shouldn't be doing this..." by continuing to escalate and agree, "you're right we shouldn't be..." GOOD LUCK As a good example this HB9 in my social circle, and she's a hired gun has tons of guy friends like this. I know because unfortunately I'm one of them. I can flirt with her, touch her, tease her but it's never going anywhere. She's a hot friend and I'd rather have her hanging on my arm for the social proof and the fact she's fun to be around, than not at all. |

Your friend might just be physically close with her friends, like JSmooth said. People draw the line between sexual and social contact at different places, so yours might just be a little more conservative that hers. Mine is very conservative haha. What you interpret as kino-escalation might just be her way of saying hi to a close friend. See how right I am by noticing how she acts with her other, close friends. |
