Post subject:  So I met this girl..

Hey guys, so I'll try to keep this brief. I met this girl about 3 months ago through a friend in one of my college classes. Turns out we're from the same city. She's a super fun girl and I have her # (my buddy made me call her once to ask a question about class, but I wasn't interested at the time, so it isn't like I was too scared to ask her) ...anyways, the past 2 weeks her and I have studied together a couple of times at school, saw each other at a party and chatted for quite awhile and she pretended she was my gf b/c this guy was creepin on her :P and we joke in class and I tease her a fair amount.
I'm not sure if she's interested though. I've texted her a couple times and she always is happy and flirty when we text. One day, kind of outta nowhere actually, she said how her friends bug her cause she hasn't been on a date for a long time b/c she can be picky at times.. That put me in this state of confusion, b/c I dunno if that's supposed to mean anything towards me, or if she was just making sure that I'm aware she's single? I think I'll just ask her out for coffee one day and not make a huge jump by asking her out for supper + movie.

What do you guys think??

I would take that as an ioi, for sure ask her out man. Make sure she knows its a date as well, if you just ask her out for a coffee casually she might get the impression that its like a friend date and that will most likely lead to LJBF speech. Take her out anywhere you want and start the kino. Good luck man

Hey guys just thought I'd update and also get some opinions.

So I haven't asked her on a date yet because finals are coming up and that's a valid excuse she could use, so I'm thinking maybe a coffee date would be better?

I bumped into her before class yesterday, we started talking and grabbed a coffee before we went to class. During class she kept poking me in the arm, or scribbling on my page and stuff. Afterwards, her and her friend said bye, and after I said bye she turned around and called me a loser, with a flirtatious smile on her face.

I really want to ask her on a date but I don't think the next 3 weeks of finals is gonna be a good time for the whole dinner + movie, as it'd take up the entire evening. I think maybe asking her out for coffee or seeing if she wants to come over and watch a movie would be better.

Any suggestions? :)

Ask her what her exam schedule is, if there is a period of a couple of days where neither of you have an exam you could arrange a date then. Or, after exams are done set up a night with your friends to go out and celebrate and invite her to go with you. Either way, i would ask her out for something more than coffee if you guys have already done that as friends.

Good point. The only thing that's unfortunate is I'm not gonna see her in class anymore so I won't be able to ask her out in person which is what I prefer to do. Oh well I guess, if she's into me then it really shouldn't matter right? :P
