| Post subject: | FAIL REPORT - Dance |
I went to a high school dance last night (I'm in 12th grade), and thought it would work out perfectly for my game. I started the stylelife challenge last week, and approached a few girls successfully on Wednesday, so I thought I would hook up for sure. Turns out I was wrong. I showed up to the dance and everything went away. It felt like I was right back where I started - self-conscious, nervous, seeking approval and afraid to approach. I forgot all the openers I learned, and I couldn't really have them heard because the music was so loud anyway. I went into that dance thinking, "I'm gonna hook up tonight. I have to." I left feeling miserable. Nothing came of it at all, and my game yet again failed me. |

See there's your problem. You are putting way too much pressure on yourself. Next time think to yourself "I'm going into this dance to have fun, I'm a naturally social guy and I want to meet new and exciting people, both male and female."Once you feel you have built up SOME confidence, think to yourself "tonight, my only goal is to approach girls, even with a basic opinion opener, if I feel nervous I don't have to stay, but I should at least approach one set" |
