gday every one
can someone please help me with an AMOG problem. Theres this chick im sarging and this guy who is a really popular guy, plays footy a real jock of a bloke and when im sarging comes up and out alfa males me.
i know that there are some techniques to deal with this type of guy but cant find them any where can someone please post a senario or give me at least some idea how to deal with this.

Guys to be fair this isn't a clear cut problem. Because I was gaming this girl few weeks ago and what happen is when this guy whom is quite popular and nearly an alpha male came along to ruin my game what I did was befriend him. As it turns out he continued to game and I am no longer in contact with this same girl. Fair to him his game is probably tighter than mine and I have nothing against the guy for that. But it also dependes who you befriend. Or is the fault on my part that I didn't tell him I was interested in the girl?>

there relay inst any solid help we can give you without being there, but if you wright a scenario ill be happy to tell you how I would deal with it, and see if you can take something from that.

Just address him like anyone else, like he's your buddy. Don't think of him as competition. As long as your making everyone laugh or engage in conversation your good

As Foxtrot said, best way to deal with someone who AMOGs you is to treat them just as you would another person. The simple reason for this is that if you befriend him and he likes you then he wont tool you. This also demonstrates to the girl that you're a cool and sociable guy who can get along with everyone. Don't ever drag a girl away, that not only stinks of neediness but also of jealousy and lack of confidence.

i'm with Foxtrot on this one. treat him like a mate and he wont know what to do. if you get comfortable doing that maybe even be a little patronising; such as if he makes a joke, smile and pat him on the arm and say hey your a funny guy or something like that. Regards Lucky

ignore him and remain calm when asks you a question just respond with cool man and if he touches you say that your not gay and that he's not your type works every time noting pisses of an amog more than someone that just doesn't care

[/i first and formost we are college students and I was starting to become close to this guy. (in no sexual way :p) and we've become one of those ppl that only pass the ball to each other when playing football. That's enough for our relationship. This girl I am no longer in contact with comes to watch me play football because I have built rapport and all and she was totally hooked. Now This guy lets call him John comes and starts talking to her because I was there and me and him are kinda friends. I didn't make much of it and just ignored the situation. later in the day she text me and tells me that she was introduced to john and other guys. and i was like cool thats good. I really did not think oh shit am loosin her cause I din't give a fuck. The next two days, I see john litrally runnig after her every time and I mean every time he sees her, and I though to myself what a prick runnin after a girl can you be more AFC. Many times this happened she looks to me hoping to find reaction, maybe she wants me to compete with the guy and run after her aswell. I din't do any of that. Maybe my reaction (which was non) adedd with the fact that she makes the effort in our contact made her think I am not interested. So she decided to give this guy a chance. Am still not sure she's with him because we are on half term holiday right now, but me and her are not keeping in touch. As I have deleted her number because she did not respond to my text on Monday. Yh the monday past. altough i think I have moved on I would be pissed if i see himn and the gurl togather. my gut instinct is tellin me i will. Long borring story? i want to know where i can better my game and your feedback will be greately appreciated. other readers feel free toi comment aswell. ADIOS

And it would sound like the guy is an AFC, is reading on the fact you don't care about her that much and is trying to make a move. I would recommend chatting to the girl and Drop in something about "John" and see what she says about him, if anything. Gauge her reaction and enthusiasm in her answer, to work out if she likes him or not.
