im a newb afc. read mysterys book like a year ago, recently got into the game and now ive decided to take some action. im just curious. how does mysterys show, and styles books and late night interviews affected pua's game nowadays? it had to make a massive impact on the field, and the awarness of hbs of whats going on.

whats your guys take?

Im from the UK, and here it has no affect really. Probably because the PUA market isnt as big here just yet. So i cant comment for America.

But it most certainly shouldnt affect your game anyway. The only reason somebody would catch you out is because your using the most common lines that they have heard before.

Even still, if the rest of your game is tight (ie. body language, tonality) she will go along with it!

So to answer your question, all it has changed is the amount of potential wingmen you have!

I havent realy noticed it that much buddy. Not many people seem to know about it that are in my age group 17-25. Even though PUA's have been on the tv giving interviews and that i dont think people take it that seriously(More full them).
If your worried try to develop your own takes on Canned Material Just so if they have heard it before it wont sound the same.

I don't think it's impacted too too much.

However, using canned material from the show may get you in trouble. I was called out on it by a 5 set one evening.. somehow, I bounced back, haha. But just avoid any of the lines FROM the show.

I think the British are too 'down to Earth' to take any notice really. I can imagine someone being told about this and them saying in a loud voice "Bollocks!" so I just don't pay any attention.

I know of a few people aware of Neil Strauss and also he had a large segment of The Times recently where he was plugging his self sufficiency book so they're not total unknowns.
