Post subject:  Following openers?

Im obviously new to this, but what is the best way to naturally follow a canned opener? Especially if its a really short opener?

I guess by commenting on something around you and then move off into the conversation.

I didn't try this on the field, but I would go for the numbers trick or whatever, then go for the cube at the end. The cube seems to be so good that I would use at the end. Style said you have to leave when the conversation is an high level (or something like that), so I would use a FTC and close.

Correct me if what I said is not good or can be better. I am still learning too.

Could you provide some more details like what kind of openers do you usually use. Directs, opinions? Give an example from the field. Whats the problem after you have opened? The one word answer and than not knowing how to continue?

Well here is what i usually do:
1. Opinion opener ( keep it short, 30 sec is ok. The idea is to wake their interest, not to bore them to death )
2. Light teasing/ light negging concerning what they answer ( about two neggs are good ) + first class kino ( first class kino is like hand shakes, high fives... something that we are used to in everyday action )
3. Hooking ( Asking: " where do you guys know each other ? " Now you have "hooks" where to grab if the energy level of the conversation dops. If they say for example that they both live in london and that they used to be next door neighbours. Hooks in this sentence would be " london " and " neighbour " etc. )
4. DHV story+ first class kino ( I use a DHV story instead of a game because now you can put your atenttion to both of them and this is the way that you will be saved by the try of the other girl trying to steal her away from you )
5. Isolate the target

Pointer: The main thing is that you dont just talk about the opener like 5 min. It gets boring. The idea is that YOU lead the conversation like an alpha male step by step who knows what he is doing!!

Well when I said I was new I wasnt kidding. I just started reading up about this stuff recently and so far I dont think I could say anything Ive been doing would be considered "sarging" as in going up to a girl with a start to finish game plan. Thats what I want to try so I need to work out a 5 step plan like you were talking about.

The only good example I can think of is I tried out an opinion opener on a group of 1 guy and 2 girls walking towards me and my buddy on a clubbing street. It opened great, they were all into it the topic for about a minute, but after it had finished I had nothing to follow on. It didnt really suit the situation to ask them how they all knew each other, maybe I could have asked where they were heading too but then what? Donno if that would really give me any hooks.

Apart from that, up until now I usually approach women who are by themselves, coffee shops, on the train, what ever. I often open by asking directions actually, as Im a foreigner in my country they usually offer to help me. Is there any good way to connect that to a hooking conversation?

Thanks for all the advice,
-Noz
