Post subject:  Need help with a classmate!!!
I’ve been developing oneitis for a girl in my class (HB8+) and she’s been giving me many IOI’s (I'm able to form groups with her and lead discussions and make her laugh) yet I’m unable to number close and ask her out (if that’s even an option at this point since we’re mid-semester…) I’ve been able to talk to other women and get contact info and hang out sometimes etc., but I can’t seem to do it with this girl because I’m honestly scared of fucking up. She’s my “type” of girl too when it comes to personality. : /

I know it’s irrational, but the opportunities (at least the obvious ones) that have come have been unsuccessful, I always bail because I start to get nervous and I know conveying nervousness is a bad so I leave (one time I’ll admit I did it prematurely) before it starts to kick in. Today she left class earlier than me and I know approaching from behind (if I decided to play catch-up on the distance she had) is awkward/creepy/desperate so I didn’t bother. But I just missed my perfect chance to ask her to join me in studying for our mid-term.

Maybe I’m waiting for the right chance, but I’m starting to believe there’s NO SUCH THING, so guys please help me out and tell me how to pull these triggers. I don’t believe I dug myself into a hole yet, I’m trying to keep my mind off of it by talking to other girls, but I need to get rejected or accepted sometime soon otherwise this will become a case of oneitis.

I’ll post more information if necessary.

stop thinking like that... do NOT care whether it works out or not, seriously. the type of thinking you have mentioned above will cause you to f*ck it up. care-free attitude always wins, it will convey your true personality and confidence...why? because you dont really give a dam what she thinks and what the outcome is so you can be YOURSELF. being comfortable in your own skin and not giving a dam makes a girl moist (without sounding too graphic). it shows HIGH value as youre the kinda guy that doesnt need validation from anyone in this world.

off the top of my head i can think of the following reasons why the care-free attitude is attractive...

1. you become comfortable in your own skin. this shows that youre ok with yourself and LIKE yourself, as a result she will be ok with you and LIKE you too.

2. being care-free in your interaction with her is basically a disqualification. no guy that is really interested in her would be so confident by teasing the shit out of her and not giving a dam about it. a guy that likes her would squirm and hol dback a bit not wanting to fuck it up. this makes you a challenge as you are (in a way) showing disinterest...she will start working to get you interested.

3. youre showing that you dont need validation from anyone as you say and do as you like....as a result she assumes that you MUST have high value.

4. being care-free displays confidence big time. caring too much about losing something does not show that youre confident about getting it right? whereas not caring about whether you lose it or not shows that you KNOW youre going to get it, or alternatively you dont give a dam if you dont.

save the caring attitude for when shes your gfriend.
