| Post subject: | working on my inner game -developing a stronger personality |
Hey guys, <warning long post with TMI probably> It's been a few weeks since I got dumped and definately still have oneitis ufortunately What I want to know is how I can work on my inner game and get myself back up to where I was at the per my relationship with my ex. Prior to the realtionship I was a Personal trainer so basically my job was to take charge of people tell them what to do and TBH I was pretty f*cking good at it. Not so good on the business side which was my donwfall. But anyway this led to it failing me taking a job as a IT guy in a role that basiaclly took everything out of my control..where I would go, what I would do etc. I resented it and made the mistake of whining about this and I guess in the end made myself look like a weakling and subsequently this spiraled out of control into me being a needy and insecure nobody....welcome to Dumpsville, population me! So I'm at the point now where I am wondering for my own mental health to get back into the game, get my passion back and learn some new skills (NLP, business/franchise skills) that will help me kick ass in the PT game and work on my inner stuff so I can be a better more confident person and transition out of my oneitis. Is it as simple as that? I suppose it's going to take balls of steel to hit a business again and run with it after failing a couple of times so in the end I guess it could be a character building exercise. Have I got this stuff all wrong or am I at least on the right track... I think the personality thing is going to be easier than my oneitis (2 year relationship) but I'm working on that slowly. Cheers |

You are on the right track. Self confidence and "Inner Game" is the basis for your entire perspective of life. It doesn't just include your ability with women. The better your self perspective, the less dependent you will be on successes to define who you are. But everything revolves around your self image. As far as resources, I would suggest looking into David DeAngelo. I have not personally sampled it, but I have heard that Carlos Xuma is almost primarily malehood/ self confidence. If you are into hypnosis and NLP, Hypnotica's material on Inner Game may be more your style. |

I believe my lack of inner game is now what has ben keeping me form being a success in my previous businesses and life in general. As far as resources, I would suggest looking into David DeAngelo. I have been going though Double your Dating but will check out the other resources to see what is salvageable/rebuildable. I'm getting Cool, calm collected from David DeAngelo and I beleive I can at least fake it till I make it so will try this approach for now. |
