MOOD OPENER:
I thought of this opener the other day. Has not been tested yet.
It is important to have rapport with the group before using this routine to demonstrate value. Have a good opener and some fluff to put in before this.
Walk up to a girl or group of girls. Tell them you want to try something that you learned the other day, and that it's pretty cool. If no one volunteers, pick someone (if its a group, don't pick your target the first time). Whoever you pick, tell them to close their eyes and give you their hands. If they oblige, then you have created a comfortable and trustworthy environment already, and thus have rapport with the group. If they are hesitant at first, say "Ah, come on, you don't trust me?" or "Alright, your loss" or something playful like that. They will probably go with it.
Take the girls hand in yours (it doesn't matter how) just try to make it seem like it is for the trick and that your not just holding their hand for the sake of holding their hand. Hold their hands with both of yours. Focus for a second on the temperature of their hand and how they are reacting to the situation, then take a wild guess at how they are feeling. You can work on being accurate at this, but it isn't the point. It is basically a cold reading.
Once you are done with the first girl, then look at your target. If she hasn't been saying much the whole time, or seems not interested, say "Are you shy? Cause I've been here a few minutes now and you haven't said much. Maybe your upset. You should try the mood test." (First part isn't my line). If she is excited and wants to try it, then your set.
Do it a little differently with your target. She will offer you her hands and close her eyes, but tell her shes easy to read and that you don't even need her hands. This is kind of a neg and an indifference thing, showing your lack of interest in her physically. Take a guess from her attitude and presence from before. Again, being accurate is not at all necessary. If they say your wrong, then play along, or throw in a neg like "Are you sure? This has never failed before... You could be lying" or something like that. Just try to keep it playful. This whole demonstration of value follows the main principles a PUA must abide by.
In theory, this should work.
