Post subject:  The Cigarettes Game
When I've gone out to clubs recently with my mates, we play this game where you go into the smoking area and you try and get as many cigarettes as possible in a time frame (only from HB's of course :wink:). I'll usually go in try and make some conversation, run some light game, and then I'll ask. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. The guy I play it with and me usually score around 2 or so in a 5 minute frame. I like it because it's a bit of a change from girls flirting with guys for fags and its a nice challenge too. So I wonder...
Have any of you guys played this sort of thing before? and have got any tips or lines for getting fags? :D

Tried a few different approaches including direct, explaining the challenge, doing light push-pull game sort of thing to name a few with varying success. If you haven't tried it its a great idea, and if your an AFC like me it really builds up confidence. The most successful way I've done it so far is to get out a cigarette, and ask for a lighter off the nearest HB's who are smoking. Make some flirty conversation and after your fag is out, tell them that that was your last one and could they lend you one? It's a long process though, any sneaky lines or tips greatly appreciated so I can kick my mates ass at it next time :D

Why not? You can meet loads of girls while they're having a smoke.

Yeah and block up my arteries and add to my already current heart problems! Plus also increase my risk of cancer! Awesome!

At the end of the day I'm not going to take up smoking just to meet girls.

I didn't take it up to meet girls. It's not all heart problems and cancer with cigarettes, there are some good things about them.

It seems like a lot of people on this website are health freaks. I just wanna sit back, have fun and enjoy life, what's wrong with that?

Fair enough but I have a history of heart trouble as it is. But yeah if you enjoy doing what you do then by all means carry on. :wink:

I guess often people are health freaks here because they want to be at their best in every way. I'm not one in particular but I like to have a decent standard of health (even more important for me in fact for the reason above). Also I suppose good health such as pumping iron are a great way to get endorphens which affect your mental state to something positive. Makes the most of your body too.

smoke game, ace.
although not the exact basis we use, my friends and i (some of who smoke) often hang out in the smoking area of clubs for a few minutes here and there, girls seem to drop their guard in the smoking area and are willing to just chat. smoking takes a minute or so - therefore yu can back track simply if reactions are negative.
i tend to ask a girl if she has a light, and start chattin sweet nothing ness for a minute or so. then end with a 'i will see yu later on' - or if their is definite interest, asking if their going to dance., its cool.

hahaha sweet!! i used to play this game with a couple of mates at school! we would go to the smokers spot behind the school and try to get as many cigs as we could. except we approached guys too. it really helped with my approach anxiety.

basically i would just start up a conversation with someone and usually i could get a fag within 1-2 minutes of talking. it would be cool to try now since my game has improved so much, but i decided to quit smoking for my health.

The way I see it it's just his tool to get over AA. Which is a great idea I think.

It's like mystery's 20$ game. Give 10 X 20$ to your wing and he gives you one back everytime you make an approach.

Like the J says! I've only really started talking to girls in clubs and in smoking areas because thats my most comfortable space, but I'll eventually branch into day game etc. :)

That $20 game is a GREAT idea, wow. Wish I'd have thought of it. Now I only need a wing.... :D
