If you have read any of my other posts, you will know by now that I am new to this. Could someone go over the basics of NLP? Provide some examples of it as well if possible, like NLP in action. Thanks. |

NLP is controlling what your mind focuses on and how, thereby manipulating the feeling associated with the pictures/memories/mental routines in your mind. Visuals in our minds are linked to feelings. But we have the power to manipulate these visuals in our minds, thereby manipulating the feelings associated with them as well. We can link pleasure or pain to almost any visual and change it's meaning in our heads. For instance you might do a NLP pattern to remove the pain from an old memory. Or you might use NLP to change how a certain activity or experience make you feel. It's all visualization manipulation. NLP can also be used in pick up. If I tell you not to think of a pink elephant, you are going to think of a pink elephant. In this way I just controlled what you pictured in your mind. If I expand on this, I could use it to make a woman think about kissing or sex, or love, or whatever, just by vividly speaking about it and engaging her in the process. |

Even though Kalel was pretty point on there is a deeper meaning with NLP. Think of it as poetry, when someone hears poetry they start feeling. This is what NLP does, it creates a feeling depending on the frame, and works in duo's or bigger gatherings of people as well. - Exerio |

NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming. It takes ideas from neurology and psychology and tries to apply them usefully in practice. Could someone go over the basics of NLP? Provide some examples of it as well if possible, like NLP in action. Thanks. Much of NLP is about "modelling" successful people in order to learn the skills they have acquired quickly and effectively. Much of it is about communication-for example, if you are talking to someone whose primary sense is visual, you might use visual language eg "I see it in these terms" OR "Look at it this way". In the seduction community, ideas developed by Ross Jeffries using NLP are primarily concerned with language designed to elicit pleasurably states in a woman. For example, you might talk about a "roller-coaster ride" when describing your connection with a women, which would make her think of a pleasurable and exciting experience. |

Yeah I didn't quite feel satisfied with my response either, but I was having trouble explaining the intricacies of NLP concisely and clearly, without going into tedious detail.
