Post subject:  So...

There's this girl I like(d). Here's the story.
I met her in my dorm area and we started talking. Everything went great and I got her number. We went to our school's football game (with separate groups of friends- I had better seats) and I decided to be bold.
Via text-
Her- "You need to hook me up with better seats next time."
Me- "No guarantees with that but I can hook you up with some food after the game. If you're interested."
She agreed.
So I waited for her after the game, she came out with two dude friends she knew from camp. She told them good-bye and left with me and they looked sour (boosted ego on my part).
Dinner went great. I played it cool, she laughed at my witty comments, the waiter knew what was up and occasionally winged for me.
We ended up going back to my dorm but my roommate was inside so we decided to just sit outside the door and talked. For an hour. Then we fell to the ground, laid there talking for another half-hour. Then we stopped talking and just stared at each other, which at this point, I removed her glasses, moved my face closer to her. But it didn't go further than that. After a minute of silence, she announced she was heading to bed and I lost my chance. We hugged when we got to her door and I left. Boo.
But then the next Friday we were at my friend's apartment for Poker Night and we sat next to each other (chance?). I slowly moved in to where I was leaning on her. She leaned on me. Then after the game we retreated into a corner and talked. I told her I needed my back popped because it was in pain and she did it for me. After a few minutes of talking, I told her I liked her. She had this neutral look for ten whole seconds. I knew the game was up but I pushed, "I was hoping for a reply." Then she told me she was kind of seeing someone. Damn. She had a boyfriend from high school who went to a different university. He was the star football player and she was a cheerleader. THey were prom queen and king. Movie cliche? I played it off cool and was like, bummer! meh. And some of my friends came and talked to me which spared both of us a moment of awkward silence. I brushed if off but she got a friend to pick her up (I was her ride). We continued talking after everything and everytime she'd looked at me with that look. I thought it meant she liked me. I've never been wrong before. Until now.
Any chance I can still win her over? I've gotten girls to break up with their boyfriends for me before but this one seem a bit tough. I want to see if I have the game.
Opinions? Tips?

It sounds like she might be interested but having so much history with her boyfriend must make her feel very obligated to stay with him and try and make it work long-distance.

The advantage you have is that you're at her uni. He isn't. That means you have time to work on her. I would suggest the standard freeze out, make her miss you. It would also be worth actively looking for other girls. You might not of lost her but it's never a bad idea to look for back ups, should make her jealous too if she's interested.

I have back-ups. But this is an ego thing for me. I want to break her. I have yet to fail and I don't want to start now.
Sounds bad eh?
