| Post subject: | How should I reply? |
Ok, so this girl I had a proper thing with a few months ago, and hooked up with intermittently until a month or so ago, sent me a text a few moments ago. I'd like some ideas as to how to respond. I'm looking to start up our thing again but we'll see. She's the sort of girl that even when everyone knew we were hooking up would still tell me to 'keep it between us.' Our text conversation today went as follows: I rang her once and she didn't pick up this morning. Her: 'What's up? I'm riding (she rides horses) can't answer but can text. X' Me: 'What are you up to later? I have a free house tonight if you want to come over. X' Her:'I'm going to Clapham with the girls, sorry! I think some of our lot (as in our social group) are free though...? xx' I'm just debating wether I should reply with something like 'I didn't want the whole group, but oh well, your loss.' Just feels a bit AFC. What do you guys think? Any suggestions? A quick reply would be appreciated. |

Quote: k, thanks
The thing is I want to convey that this wasn't an invite to a party. Saying that would just mean she doesn't know she's missed out on time with just me and her.
should suffice |

a quick reply.. she isn't giving you something positive to respond to, so don't reward her with a respond.. Text her next week with something else than a invitation to your house, like invite her to walk your dog. |
