It was loud, barely able to hear one another, packed to the shoulder on the dance floor, but the guys outnumber the girls 4:1. Went with 2 good looking guys and a regular joe, girls beelined for the good looking guys, dirty danced before being swept away by the flood. Me and avg joe were aimlessly 'dancing'. Tried to EC some, but it was really dark, said hi to a few but no one could hear me. Wrong club or wrong methods? |

Firstly, the guys might have been goodlooking but did they also have good confident body language, a smile, normal facial expressions (not predatory or nervous) A good looking guy might have more natural confidence. Did you have a normal facial expression? It is very easy for a guy to have a worried, nervous, or concerned look on their face if they are feeling worried or trying too hard. Keep a focus on keeping a normal / smiley facial expression. This club might have been too loud. I am a regular club goer and some destroy your ear drums and some you can have a natural chat in a normal voice. Find clubs that are a bit quieter. When you were aimlessly dancing were you standing on the edge of the dance floor staring at all the girls? (I am not assuming this just asking) If you were that's not good, You need to look like you are enjoying yourself, have a laugh with your mate, its non verbally direct on a dance floor. Dont get too near the women, enjoy yourself, enjoy the music, when you learn how to HAVE FUN on the dance floor women will gravitate towards you. They can lurk out the men who are just there to check out the girls with their predatory stares. When you get a bit more confidence you could try things like mirroring the girls dancing in a funny way, get some brief eye contact and force interest say "Hey!" and smile or "Cheers" and raise your drink. Throw in silly little moves now and then. And if they can't hear you then you are either talking too quiet or yes it is the club it is too loud, try pub game. Good luck |
