So, I got this girls number last week and I invited her to a couple of parties over the weekend. She didn't show up to either of the ones I invited her to (I expected her not to, because she had friends coming in to town). I texted her on Monday, and she didnt reply. However, on Tuesday I saw her in class and she said "I'm soo sorry for not responding to your texts! blah blah blah" I told her it was cool and that "I don't trip with that kinda thing." (which is true, I dont respond to friends texts all the time, either cause I'm busy or whatever) So she said she'd text me that night. She failed to do so! So I text her today out of boredom and lack of getting a new number today.
Things were going well, so I figured I'd take a chance:
Her: "Haha ur not very good at being sneaky through texts
"Me: "Apparently not. I'll have to work on my texting ninja skills if I ever plan on seducing you!"
20 Mins goes by
Me: "Hmm, awkward silence = ninja texting fail! So, I went job hunting earlier today, and out of curiosity I went into Abercrombie (I dont even own anything from there), but the chick seemed super excited and I made friends with one of the dudes there. Is it douchey to work at Abercrombie?"
Her: " No not at all. Just make sure they pay u well. And sorry I just now got back to my phone. I was in the kitchen. Ur last text was pretty funny. And I happen to think you have awesome ninja-texting skills haha its all good."
We've continued texting, but it feels like her defense barrier went back up. She's not as playful, but still is sending smileys and shit. I think I really fucked that one up, and she's just taking pity on me!
