this 80/20 stuff I Hear where it's 80% looks and 20% personality for women is complete and utter crap

I have done many polls on male dominated sites, and the consensus generally is that a woman's appeal is 40 - 60% personality and the rest is looks

I, personally, am every bit as turned on by personality as looks

this is the problem with the PUA community, it only sees women's shallow outer beauty. And that, my friends, is a terrible mistake.

Thats a very sweeping statement, do you know every PUA there is?

Also I won't deny looks are important. I am only human buddy. Of course if she has a boring personality I won't like her in the long run, but we notice women because we find them visually pleasing. I would be an idiot if I said looks didn't matter to me 'cause thats bullshit, however if there's nothing else to offer then I'm not going to take a long term interest.

Looks are important to me but they're not the most important thing, nor are they the least important thing.

It is, as is commonly expressed here, a "Game" for the most part. Women dress up to her increase her desirability and the guys out there who can treat this most "objectively" (or objectifies her, if you please) walks away with the prize. Both parties happy. Nothing is zero-sum here.

80/20 is more for attraction. If you want a relationship or anything besides physical then the ratio flattens out. I don't know what the question is you asked to get a 40-60% answer for personality. If it was remotely like "What are you looking for in a girl" then yeah I would expect that sort of result. If you asked something more towards " What turns you on in a girl" then I would expect 80% to be physical.

Also remember.... most of the guys in internet comunities have yet to get laid! So I would take their opinions lightly (jk :wink: ... or am I!)

HERE's why

First , men , in general are attracted to women , because of their aspect , that's a fact , that's biological, even if you're not a pua , when you're an afc , you're not attracted by " ugly" girls , is that right? yes it is!!

Second, we all have different standart, I mean , what I want in a girl , is , she must be proud of who she is , she must have a great value, she must be fun, and she must be intelligent , and by intelligent you could mean a lot of things, she might also have to be creative .

What we see first, is what she looks like , and then , who she is. The Game didn't change the men in that way. Men who had standarts , might have greater standarts now , but , we aren't gonna change what want a guy.

What you do , with the community , is simple , and it is bad , you see guys ,who are good with women , and you put them in a box , where it is written " bad guys , who do not care about women, who treat them like shit , etc " And that is simply bad , and by saying this , you have no value to me man. I understand your point. What you showed us in your post , is , that you're not that open minded , and that is , all you wanted to proove at the beginning , you wanted to show us all , that what we do is bad , and , that what we are is shit , and that you , you respect the women. If that's not what you think tell me what it is .


A lot of pua , just want to be better men , have better girls , have a better life , be happy, with theirself. And I think , you cannot deny that.

By the way , women are like men , they are a complete thing , with an innerself and an outterself , if you take one without talking about the other , there is no attraction possible. That's why look doesn't matter in itself, but , it matter( not as much as average guy think) when associated with what you are , inside. I think , the more you like you , the complete you , and the more people will find you attractive , no way it is wrong , it's fieldtested, I would say , it is lifetested.

Well it's like everything. There are no generalisation rules.

I need only to look at a women to know I want to do her. I need to chat up with her to know if I want a relationship, but it's all physical for attraction.

So you are saying you coudn't fantasize about a women without havin a 20-30 min in your head? You never get aroused by the way a women is looking, the energy she is exibiting. By the way her hair moves, her skin feels, by the way she smells? You never got turned on by a look in her eyes or the gracious way she was walking in those perfect clothes that hug her body so well?

You never saw a women and told yourself 'oh I'd so fuck her'?

Then again maybe we don't all have the same sex drive.

alot of what you said right there is posture and confidence, which is non physical things that I'm talking about which goes in the 40 - 60% that I was referring to.


and yes I get sexually attracted to women before I talk to them but If I talk to them and their personality doesn't match their looks, I"m not interested, sorry

You can't measure the personality vs. Looks attraction for every girl u meet... that's just qualitative and very subjective data.

I'll just state from personal experience, as a guy I'm first attracted to a female by her looks and having a sexy personality just amplifies the attraction. I could feel relatable and intrigued by someone who's got it personality wise but if Ilm not physically sexually attracted to her there's nothing you can do. Though it seems girls are the opposite: If a man's personality turns them on really good they rlly could care less about looks. That's why u c lotta ugly ass fools with fine ass bitchezz. Its just our general psychology, but of course it varies... to each his own

Can I just ask, do you have problems with women? 'Cause it seems to me you just have to argue with everything here so no wonder they want to leave if you bore them like this.

I don't want to seem nasty but overtly argumentative people are not magneic personalities and push people away. Of course there are always things we must dispute, but if you want to have debates and arguments constantly, perhaps you'd be better off on a political forum.

I mean , no need for an answer , just a guy saying that , puas are attracted to look more than personnality , and what the problem , guys do whatever they want , we're in the " newbie questions " part and , no newbie question there.
