Any advice for my first sarge?

Post subject:  Any advice for my first sarge?
Broken foot's on the mend and I only live a few blocks away from a local book/movie/music store. So I was planning on going and sarging down there sometime soon.

So Goals:
* Ask for numbers (Don't care if they flake)
* Get over AA.

I'm just going to go up to girls and be like, "Hey, you're pretty cute and I'd kick myself later on if I passed up the oppurtunity to talk with you. " (I don't remember where I got that, but I like it. Most natural thing to say. )

Or some kind of deviation from that. Even just saying "Hi. "

It's obviously going to be a daygame sarge. So I was wondering if anyone had any tips or advice. The onyl material I have access to is some Mystery Method Ebook I found online, just so you guys know.

Some things I'd like to add: I'm going to be walking, so if I get hot and sweaty will it make a difference?

I have a blushing tendency. I wouldn't say it's blushing all of the time, sometimes it's just a heated 'flush' but what should I say if they call me out on it? Should I even worry?

for the first sarge, id say you need to calm down and maintain ur cool.... if its some random girl and you mess up (we all have and still do) no worries, its no problem, dont look like u just woke up, but dont put on ur most expensive shit when ur just walking down to the nearest plaza or what ever ...be urself and be casual .... what i do before going out is i usually try listen to music that puts me in a good mood, having a smile on never hurt either ( not some crazy serial killer clown smile though)

I'm gonna look over some last minute stuff, but the goal is really just to eliminate AA, so if I can get over those approach jitters then I'd be happy. To hell with the number, the base goal is to get over the AA and if I get a hot chick's number then that's just icing on the cake, baby!

I may go into some local restraunts to put in some Apps so I'll see if I can get any hostess's numbers. Last time I did I noticed that the hostess was all clutsy around me and she was about an HB8 by my reckoning.

No serial killer smiles! Gotcha! So no Jack Nicholson smile? Aww man...and I was working on that one, too. Damn. ;)

I'll post my results here when I've completed my task.

Hmmm....well I didn't get to do what I thought I was going to do. It was more like a newbie drill because all I did was say "Hi" to a couple of people at the bookstore. I did learn one thing, though, I probably need to do the newbie drill first before I attempt another sarge, and I also probably need to do it at the mall. I thought that the AA might just be me psyching myself out, but when I got to the place I was just too nervous to do anything else but say hi. I thought that when I got there the AA wouldn't even be there, but it was.

There was very few people there, so I didn't get to say Hi to everyone, Or "How's it goin' ". But at least it's better than nothing, I usually just walk around with a scowl on my face, and stare people down if our eyes meet.

So, I still have AA, but I now know what I have to do. Maybe the approach anxiety will get better after the mall. Mall's closed tomorrow.... I'll try Monday, then.

Oh yeah, what if I don't have a cell phone? Just in case I do, by chance, get a number? Should I just have a few spare pieces of paper on me?

have a pen ... let them write it on ur arm, but only do this when only tryig to acheive one number..... writing on skin is immature but its fun , shows her your half play half business, you get my drift? but if u dont like that idea..id grab a card or somesort form a store you just went to (manager business card or whatever) just so it doens tlook like u were plannig to sarge, make everything as smooth and casual, in the spur of the moment as you can ....the only planning should be the reservation and restaruant you want 8)

Hehe, thanks. That was my main concern was that it'd look a little scripted, or try hard if I took spare pieces of paper with me. I had a pen today, but I didn't get to use it other than on applications. Oh well.

I gotcha! I was thinking about the pen on the arm one, but thought it was a little immature. I think I'll try it!
