hey guys quick question - sometimes girls will tell me (even if im microcalibrating) things like "psh ur never gonna get farther than this with me" or "you wish you could go farther" and i usually just brush it off or something but is there an easier way to handle the shit test? couse i cant tell if i should agree and make and awkward statement or if i should just disagree with it completly

Remember, they're just testing you to see if you would be reactive. Don't give in or be shock because that what they expect. Instead say something unexpected to capture her interest because it shows that you’re not just another typical guy that she meets every day.

Just look her in the eyes, hold eye contact for a second and say: "Yeah right" in a slightly sarcastic manner (you shouldn't sound offensive) and then continue with your conversation. The point is to let her know that you don't care at all if she thinks you're hitting on her.

So much depends on the body language and the context and whatnot so it's really hard for me to say exactly how you should respond to that exact ST. I admit it's one of my least favs though. At first I felt this kind of ST should be answered with a neg, something like 'what makes you so sure I'd want to?' but that just kind of escalates the confrontation and brings in too much negativity. You could also go with the push 'Your loss' then shrug your shoulders and face away, but again seems a little bit too negative for my taste. The cocky answer 'yeah right' from playfellow sounds pretty good, I might try that next time.
