This line is so obvious that you are making a pass at her it is ridiculous. You would need a very strong frame to make something like this work, and from the sound of her response it seems she is completely not interested.If you were on the dance floor you could have challenged her to a dance off with a twist... see who can look the worst! I do silly dance moves all the time... it's fun.
It'll be tough to get her number after starting like that, but my advice is try to keep the conversation interesting and fun in order to build some rapport. Find something you two share in common that you are very passionate about (maybe you both absolutely love bird watching, it can be anything). Once you have an activity that you both love, invite her to do it with you sometime and use that as a way to get her number.
