Post subject:  Loss of thought train and premature ejecting
Ok so I'm really happy that I've pretty much suppressed my AA to the point that it isn't a huge problem anymore, but now I have a new problem. To get over AA, I just went up to girls and opened then ejected and now that's ALL that I can seem to do. I know a lot of stuff... I've read plenty, but now that I actually am in field I have no idea what to do after finishing the opener. So I either run another opener (and since I use opinion openers a lot, girls sometimes are like why do you keep asking random questions) or I just start asking AFC rapport questions which is just my natural instinct I suppose. So what exactly do you do after an opener....

example...

Me: Hey, I need your opinion on something...
HB: Ok...
Me: So if a girl in a relationship kisses another girl, is that cheating?
HB: No--or sometimes yeah if she's bi
Me: Oh ok because one of my friends has a big issue about this but most people say it's not (deteriorating at this point)
HB: Ok...
Now what??

It seems like I'd look totally ADD if I just jumped right into a pattern or disqualifying from that so I end up just being like "well are you from around here?" and then I realize I'm being an AFC and I eject even when a couple times the girl has seemed really interested in me.

Now you continue talking :)

You can ask her "Have you ever kissed a girl?" and then tease her no matter what her response is. Or you can just tell a story related to the opener. Or just observe something unusial and interesting about her and tell her.

Heh ok that's good thanks. I just seen to end up in an AFC conversation when I keep talking. So then how do you get to all of the other stuff like disqualifying, push/pull, patterns, etc? I just want to know how it would flow. Or are you just supposed to be sporadic and change suddenly from your initial conversation to a push/pull routine or negs or anything.

this was a sticking point for me, still is in some cases. a good thing to do is add value to the convosation, run a routine like the rings routine or the best friends test. elict hooks and make convosational threads, take control of the frame ect thers a bunch of things you can you. however one mistake i made was thinking i had to do all of them in order for a successful pick up.

however you dont, the reason there is so many things we can use, its basicaly so we are able to act and adapt to any social interaction in order for a higher chance of success, if you pick up a HB without using negs, or a freeze out, its no big you still picked up the HB as long as you dont AFC it youl be fine :) another good thing to do, to get over this sticking point, open a fuck load of sets and learn to calibirate more. the more you practice the better you will become

i still have my sticking points, im a newbie and consider myself an RAFC, but with practice im gonna be a PUA, like any game, the more you play, the better you become ;)
