I mean no disrespect to the PUA community with this question. The reason I ask is that I've read that womanizers tend to suffer from low self-esteem. 'Conquering' a female (eg getting her into bed) boosts their confidence. Do any of you suffer from low self-esteem? I find it hard to believe that Neil Strauss or Mystery suffer from low-self esteem. Your input is appreciated, thanks. |

Pick-up works different for every one. Everyone has their own path they have to walk. So generalizations like pick-up artists have low self-esteems are useless. p.s. read some more stuff besides The Game. |

Low self-esteem is lack of inner Game... Low self-esteem will hinder your Game... Some might do it to boost their self-esteem... I know not... Game is a way of improving your self-esteem... but It must be done before picking up women... So 'getting laid' is more the 'prize' of having fought your inner demons and defeated you low self-esteem... But I think, Yes.... Being conscious and contemplative about how and why you pick up women might improve your self-esteem and help some people grow more sure of them-selves... - Wolf |

A lot of guys get into this because women have always got one up on them after a while they learn a healthy mindset for women and all is good. In terms of numbers of women it is different for every guy I know all sorts of puas notch on bed post types all the way to looking for the one type s meh there are as many puas and personalities as with any other group of men in society. |

Men have been trying to seduce women for centuries. PUA is something that, if done well, can make men for efficient at that. So the question isn't whether seducing women is wrong, but whether being good at it (or wanting to be good at it) is wrong. I'm not going to blame anyone for wanting to be good at something. |
