| Post subject: | Trendy clothes |
Guys, I need a male opinion on something. Is there a webpage that follows clothing trends? I am little bit off, and decided to get some new clothes that would fit me and the times I happen to live in. No, do not give me the links to Dolce&Gabbana butiques, I am thinking of something affordable but classy, not to cool, but not to "daddy". Thanks |

How about buying what you think looks good? |

I understand your point, but you know, something that looks good in the club may be something different than what looks good in the library, office, church, wherever. Today I had clothes that looks good in quiet places, but I looked so "daddy-like" that even the guy with club-leaflets ignored me. I'm not saying I will buy whatever will be suggested, but I want to get some various perspectives and suggestions so I can make my own decision at the end of the day |

The guy with club-leaflets ignored you?? That is soooo sad. You do have issues. Quit your job and start making music. You need to break the hell away from what you are doing. Probably less the clothes and more your energy. Regain your life! I am not just very attractive, I also have amazing energy. Girls say that I have a glow around me. Of course you can't be as good looking as me, but you can get that glow. |

Well best thing is to find a female friend or relation who is within your "target" age range to go shopping with you. |

well it depends . my style is i like buying nice dress shirts. button up long sleeves but i fold my sleeves about 1/4 up my forearms the kinds of shirt you find at stores like Banana Republic which arint to expensive they can run you 55-90$USD. Nice pair of looose legs jeans and nice dress kicks(dress/causal shoes). whats good about these shirts is you can wear it with shorts and sandals where its casual. something like this (dont be weary of the name brand theres places that sells the same style of shirts) ![]() i have a shirt like this white collar but its black with white stripes( got it for 70$) ![]() some other ones ![]() these are just some of my examples, this may or my not be the style you are looking for but this is what works for me. i'll post up pictures of me wearing some of my stylish clothing when i get the chance. BTW club leaflets is the same as club flyers basicly the promoter guy whos passing out flyers to there club. |

Don't waste your time looking for fashion-right and trendy clothes. But use what you like. However, use contrasts. If you wear white, then mix it up with black as well. If you follow up on contrasts which matches your appearance girls will tell you that you have a nice style anyways. - Exerio |

Great answers guys, thanks a lot! Exerio - in terms of contrast, do you suggest small accents or signicifact (in terms of size) clothing? I do love dark clothing (I am italian-type looking guy), black, navy blue, ultramarine, browns, and you think details like white collar and cuffs (as NonStopReaper suggestes which was brillant), would be a sign that "I have a nice style"? And yes, I will try to make some female friends (conscious "I just want to be friends with you" huh?) that will help me with that issue. I only came to London few weeks ago hence no time to establish any. Cheers guys! |

Who you trying to impress? No one cares how good looking you think you are. No one here is gonna fuck you. |

I must quit following the trends, in local free newspaper (London Lite), there was a short article on what men must NOT wear. Black shirt was one of the four items not to be worn by man (among bling, vasts and purses), and I do love black shirts! Trends sucks guys! |

If by "trendy," you actually mean "stylish," this is the only link you'll ever need: http://www.kinowear.com/blog Your boy, 870 |

Set your own trend. Go into a store you think has cool clothing and then put together a few outfits. Get yourself a few tops you can layer for style and whatever pair of bottoms will match. If you want to, throw on a necklace or a new watch as well to spice it up. It doesn't matter if you are dressing "trendy" in the eyes of others. Make your own style and own it. Trends start somewhere, so maybe you'll spark a new one. |
