Post subject:  Teenage drama and etc... How to approach it?

Before going any farther with the girl being mentioned, I'll let her cool down first, because I don't want to get mixed up in this teenage drama bullshit any more than I already am.

But let's get to the point...

Last night I casually start talking to the girl and then she brings out this rumor that she had sex with one of my friends, which I already had heard about and dismissed it as false from the start.

Usual drama crap ensues from this point on, which I don't liked to get mixed up in because I always feel so detached from everyone, because I can't associate with their feelings. This in turn makes me realize that I'm for some reason incredibly happy with my somewhat lame everyday life.

However, this is what intrigues me:

She said she only wanted the aforementioned guy as a close friend, and nothing else. This conversation lasted a while, and no mention came of her wanting me to be anything as only a ''close friend'' or a friend of any sort for that matter. I see her placing no mention of us both as being only friends to be quite good for me. Although at the end of our conversation I kind of blew up in her face because of her negative attitude.

So I'll give her some time to cool down, and then continue doing what I have started.

I guess this thread isn't about as much of asking you guys a question as it is just me venting some of my frustration.

So, her not mentioning us being only friends is probably great for me.

And I know she won't get over this soon, so how should I approach talking about all this teenage drama stuff with her?

Tell her you're not here to talk about that and switch the subject.

As a man you're supposed to lead the conversation.
