Post subject:  Middle Aged - Am I crazy?

I'm a newbie but suspect my experience is different from most. I've been married twice - divorced twice (hey, I'm consistent). I have 2 kids including a 13 year old boy that pretty soon's gonna need my help with girls. And BTW, I'm in my mid-50s. People (including my last gf) tell me I look much younger, but they're probably full of it.

Two marriages is enough for me, I already have kids so...I just date without looking for "the one." But my game is no better than it was before the 1st marriage. IOW, it sucks. But recently, through sheer dumb luck I did the right thing long enough to have a couple month thing with a woman 20 years younger than me. It was exciting and I want more! That's what led me to The Game and a lot of material online.

But, there's no way I would dress or act like I'm 25, most clubs are also too young for me. I just wanna learn techniques for other social places: grocery store, book store, online dating, etc.

Any suggestions, things I should modify to match my "advanced" years. Techniques if someone says I'm too old for her.

Dave

Welcome. It's never too late to join in. Your son is going to be lucky if you can show him the ropes the proper way!

Alright, I would suggest you get a hjold of David DeAngelo's material (Double your Dating for starters and Double your dating: Advanced Series). He's good to work on your inner game and get those belifs in check (like I'm too old to attract younger women...). He's not technique specific like some other methods, but he's good at adressing your limitations and making you a better (i.e. more attractive) man. If you get your inner self in check, younger women won't even tell you 'You're too old for me" because you won't belive you are too old for them. Follow my drift?

In the mean time, I would just go with: (on a relaxed tone) 'Wow, you are forward. Take it easy. Who talked about a relation ship here? I'm just enjoying a good conversation with an intersting lady'. Re frames it where she is chasing after you. Might not be the best though. I'm sure other people have better advices.

Post subject:  Dating younger.

The girls I know my age that get in with older men always go with the older man who acts younger. You don't necessarily have to dress super PuA, but dress a bit younger and hipper, maybe a somewhat flashy button up, nice shoes, and some kind of neck piece to a club. Dress like you look cool wealthy, not yacht wealthy. Being around younger girls and looking like an authoritative, confident older male will start pushing their daddy buttons. Just get them giggling, and definitely play up the "It would never work, you could be my daughter!" and add a wink stuff. For girls that are around their 30's and stuff I would play more of the stable male with a troubled love life where you were taken advantage of by floozy women. From what I've notice girls around 30 are usually ready for that sort of stability.

Hey Dave,

as previously stated, it is never too late.

for what it is worth, i really would encourage you to go for it!!!
couple of things I reckon that could help,

1. dont wait till you have read every book on pua before you go to that grocery store and say hi to some babe.
2. Get your inner game sorted and start realising why, "girls love older guys, and find em really sexy." is true.

good luck bro

Post subject:  Thanks!

Thanks to everyone for the positive comments. I liked the notion of dressing like the cool rich guy, rather than the rich yacht guy. I figured I'd start dressing like Clooney - you know solid button down shirt or t-shirt with a nice sports jacket. I already have some upscale jewelry.

Other suggestions - keep me coming. And thanks.

Dave
